SELECT AN FAQ CATEGORY
Why is my M Series heater not reaching the desired temperature?
Ambient room temperature can be a factor. If the difference between actual and desired temperature is more than 8 degrees Fahrenheit (approx. 3 degrees Celsius), additional heating capacity is required (add another heater or upgrade existing power).
Is the E series heater fully submersible?
Yes, the E Series heaters are fully submersible. The instructional manual specifies a minimum water level.
My heater won’t hold a temperature of 80°F (26.7°C) in my aquarium. Do I need to add more heating power?
Most likely the answer is yes. If you wish to maintain 80°F in your aquarium, you will likely need more power or begin by warming up the room itself as ambient temperature is very important. The cooler the room is, the greater the energy requirement to increase the aquarium temperature.
Are M series heaters fully submersible?
Yes, M series heaters are fully submersible.
