- Dosage for treatment and prevention of disease: use 1 tablespoon per 10 US Gal / 37.8 L
- Cleaning aquarium accessories: dissolve 5 tablespoons / 78 g of salt in 1 gallon / 3.7 L of warm water and apply as needed. Rinse with freshwater and dry.
- Note: Do not use Iodized table salt which typically contains an anti-caking agent such as calcium silicate, which can be lethal to fish.
